Beginnings....
Donna Richmond the creator of BulletinGold grew up on a farm near Cameron, West Virginia. She attended Ohio Valley College in Parkersburg, West Virginia; Abilene Christian University, Abilene Texas; and received a Bachelor's Degree in secondary education and English and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She began the work of BulletinGold while working as church secretary for the Lincoln and Tunnell congregation in Santa Maria where she served for over 15 years.
Since that time, her heart has been torn by tragedy many times over. She lost her young husband and 22 month old child in a tragic accident in 1974 and she lost her second husband in 2001. In spite of her grief and personal tragedy she continued to edit this work while going back to school and changing to a full time job to help support her children Michael and Jeremy. Her persistent love for the church and her Lord has endeared her to many of her readers and friends all over the world.
As BulletinGold entered it's fifth year it was also the year of new beginnings for Donna. She sold her house and moved during the summer of 2005 to Texas where she and her son Jeremy began attending college together as students.
New Beginnings....
With the April 2005 edition of BulletinGold, Donna handed the work over to David Bragg and Ed Thomason. Ed had been Donna's webmaster for a number of years, helping her put the wonderful articles into the archives of this website. He suggested that David Bragg would make an excellent editor and David has served in that capacity since 2005.
